There are plenty of options for fireworks in Myrtle Beach on July 4.
Summers include lots of shows “just because” on the Grand Strand. Time on the coast seems like a great enough reason to celebrate this way! On July 4, Myrtle Beach turns it up a notch.
Here’s how to spend this holiday on the Grand Strand — plus tips for enjoying them to the fullest.
Tips for Watching July 4 Fireworks
Planning to get to the coast for the holiday? Here’s some advice if you do.
- Leave it to the pros
It’s legal to buy fireworks in South Carolina — but illegal to own or set off in Myrtle Beach. We recommend checking out public displays instead. They’re dangerous to light on your own,
- Bring essentials
For kids, have bubbles, games, and toys to help pass the time before the show. Don’t forget insect repellent, drinks, and a beach blanket.
- Have plenty of snacks
We’re talking veggies and ranch, or chips and french onion dip. How about popsicles? You can’t go wrong with pepperoni pizza, popcorn, or cookies.
